The 2022 Stimulus Check will pay $1,400 in the beginning of February 2022 | See if You’re Eligible!

The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) estimates that almost 10 million additional Americans could qualify for a Covid-19 stimulus check.
A simplified tax return is available for those with low or no income who are exempt from federal income tax. All eligible U.S. citizens have until November 15 to fill up and submit the paperwork.
In addition, the April 15 deadline has been extended to October 17 for those who did not file their taxes on time. Anyone who believes they may be eligible can file their taxes online with the IRS.
In addition, consider the following:
Individuals having AGIs of $75,000 or less, or couples filing a joint return with AGIs of $160,000 or less, are eligible for stimulus payments of up to $1,400.
In addition, families with dependents of any age can get $1,400 annually for each dependent. Congress also temporarily increased the Child Tax Credit (CTC) to help more families qualify for aid.

The average family may expect to get $3,000 for each child aged 6–17 and $3,600 for each child aged 5 and younger. To find out if you are eligible, visit the IRS website.
The revised streamlined filing option is just one of many tax returns services available on CTC’s website.
The GAO found that some demographics may have experienced payment delays.
These people include:
- had never filed a tax return or were doing so for the first time
- were part of a family with mixed immigration status
- lacked a bank account or access to a bank
- had limited or no internet access
- were homeless
If you believe you qualify for the Child Tax Credit but did not get a COVID-19 payment in 2020 or 2021, you may be able to file a simplified return through ChildTaxCredit.gov, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) explained in a blog post. But the deadlines are drawing nearer quickly.
