Raging Texas Brush Fire Engulfs 120 Acres, Leaves Apartment Building in Ruins
Tuesday night, an uncontrolled brush fire in Cedar Park, Texas, reportedly destroyed one apartment structure and damaged two others.
The Cedar Park Fire Department received a call about a grass fire near 12820 West Parmer Lane at approximately 6:15 p.m., and fire personnel responded to the four-alarm blaze within a minute, according to the fire chief at a news conference.
The fire had not been contained as of Tuesday night at 10:30 p.m., according to the Texas A&M Forest Service.
According to the fire commander, one apartment building is a total loss and two others sustained damage. Individuals have been evacuated from Bexley at Silverado apartments, Whitestone Landing, and adjacent businesses.

Minor Injury and Active Fire Fighting with Shelter Support
The incident resulted in one minor injury, but no serious injuries were reported.
Firefighters continue to monitor adjacent areas for spot fires and extinguish any vegetation fires that are advancing. Bulldozers from the Texas A&M Forest Services are constructing a containment line around the active scrub fire.
Officials stated that all available resources, including numerous response units from Cedar Park and more than 20 state and local agencies, are responding to the fire. Officials urged motorists to avoid the area and all surrounding roads, including E. Whitestone Boulevard, West Parmer Lane, and others.
The Red Cross is presently establishing shelter operations for those who have been displaced as a result of the fire.
