Photos released in bus stop shooting probe in Westlake District


On Wednesday, police published photographs of two persons wanted in connection with the deadly shooting of a man at a bus stop in the Westlake District last month.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened around 11:25 p.m. on Oct. 28 at 8th Street and Union Avenue.

The person was transferred to a hospital and died there. Pablo Aaron Garcia, 20, of Los Angeles, was identified as the suspect.

An investigation revealed that one of the suspects had an incident with the victim before to the shooting.

According to authorities, the suspect later approached the victim while he was sitting on a bus bench and shot him.

Authorities provided photographs of two suspects, as well as the vehicle used in the crime, a black BMW Gran Coupe.

The suspects’ involvement was not elaborated on by the police.
