New Jersey Missing Officials Find 19-year-old Dead at Pennsylvania Recycling Centre

An investigation is ongoing after the body of a 19-year-old man was discovered at a recycling center in Berks County over the weekend, according to officials.

Kellen J. Bischoff, 19, of Manahawkin, New Jersey, has gone missing recently. He was last spotted early Saturday am leaving an off-campus house party near Kutztown University.

Later that morning, his body was located among previously dropped-off trash recyclables at the Total Recycling Facility in Birdsboro, according to officials.

The 19-year-surveillance old’s film was ultimately retrieved, and it showed him getting into a dumpster alone at the back of a Dollar Tree in Kutztown.

“The contents of this dumpster were then emptied and crushed into the back of the recycling truck and brought to the Total Recycling Facility, where the victim’s body was eventually located,” according to Berks County Detectives.

His death injuries “were consistent with having been dumped inside and afterward squeezed by the trash truck,” an autopsy revealed on Monday.

Toxicology reports are forthcoming, and no indicators of foul play were discovered, according to officials.
