Melania Trump Has Stated That She Finds It “Sad to Witness” What Is Occurring in the United States!
Former first lady Melania Trump stated in an interview aired on Sunday that it is “sad to see” what is going on in the U.S. in answer to a question about what she thinks of the status of the country.
“I believe it’s sad to see what’s going on if you actually delve thoroughly into it. I think a lot of people are struggling and suffering and what is going on across the world as well.
So that’s quite terrible to watch, and I hope it changes fast,” she told “Fox & Friends” presenter Pete Hegseth.
Trump, whose interview was done from Florida, was also asked what she thought of Washington, D.C., considering her husband’s repeated characterization of the nation’s capital as a swamp.
“I enjoy Washington, D.C. I know it functions radically differently than any other city, but I genuinely like being there. And I adored living in the White House. To be the first lady of the United States was my greatest honor.
I think we achieved a lot in the four years of the Trump administration. I adored taking care of the White House. It was my home for a spell. I knew that was people’s residence. And it was, it was an honor to live there,” remarked.
Asked if the White House will ever be her home again, Trump said, “Never say never.”
Trump was also questioned about the criticism she received from the media during her time as a first lady and whether or not she felt snubbed because she was never featured on the cover of Vogue like current first lady Jill Biden.
“The media, for instance, take a look at Vogue. Jill Biden is featured on the cover of the magazine five months into her husband Joe Biden’s presidency. Even before she has been sworn in, Kamala Harris has made it onto the cover of a magazine.
During her time as the first lady, Hillary Clinton was on the cover of this publication. There were three different covers featuring Michelle Obama.

Despite the fact that you have business experience, a fashion background, and you are beautiful, you have never been on the cover of Vogue. Why are we using two different standards? Hegseth questioned it.
“They are prejudiced, and they have preferences both for and against certain things. And it should be so clear. And I believe the people of the United States and everyone else see it. It was their choice to do so.
And I have far more important things to do and I did at the White House than being on the cover of Vogue,” Trump retorted. “And I have a lot more important things to accomplish than being on the cover of Vogue.”
