LOS ANGELES – On Wednesday, the police said that a 20-year-old man was killed last month on a bus bench in downtown Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department says that at 11:25 p.m. on Oct. 28, patrol officers responded to a radio report of a dangerous weapon attack and found the victim, Pablo Aaron Garcia, on the sidewalk at Eighth and Union avenues with a gunshot wound.
They said they needed an ambulance. Garcia’s injuries were treated by people from the Los Angeles Fire Department, and he was then taken to a hospital, where he died from them.
Investigators say that the suspect and the victim seemed to have fought before the suspect walked up to the victim as he was sitting on a bus bench and shot him.
At the time, there was nothing known about the suspect. If you know anything about the death, call the Central Bureau Homicide squad at 213-996-4143.
