Global Poll Crowns Prince William as Top Candidate to Unite the US
The heir to the throne topped the list of world leaders that the majority of Americans have a favorable opinion of, according to a Gallup poll.
With a favorable rating of 59 percent, Prince William has topped a poll conducted to determine the world leader on whom the majority of Americans from both political extremes can concur.
According to the results of the Gallup poll, the prince is the world leader most likely to reconcile Democrats and Republicans, surpassing both President Biden and Donald Trump.The second-place finisher was Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky with 57 percent, while the fourth-place finisher was King Charles with 46 percent favorability.
William also had the lowest unfavorability rating, at 22%, compared to his father, whose unfavorability reached 37%, although he still received a majority favorable rating.
Vladimir Putin was positioned at the very bottom of the list, with a staggering 90 percent unfavorability rating and a five percent favorability rating.

Bipartisan Appeal: William Earns Favor from Democrats and Republicans Alike
William is regarded equally by Democrats and Republicans, with 63 percent and 65 percent of respondents from each political party having a favorable opinion of him, respectively.
The majority of his support stems from middle-aged and older adults, as his favorability rating among those aged 18-34 is only 38%, and he is more popular with women than males.
The website explained that elder American women were more likely to have positive memories of Princess Diana, William’s mother, and to feel sympathy for him after her tragic death.
They also noted that the Prince of Wales has been in the news frequently for his philanthropic efforts, including the introduction of his Homewards campaign to combat homelessness in the UK earlier this summer.
Similarly, fifty percent of Republican voters and fifty percent of Democratic voters view King Charles favorably.
Charles recently met with President Biden at Windsor Castle, and commentators noted a remarkable level of affection between them, as well as an abundance of physical contact.
Since 2020, William’s estranged brother Harry has lived in the United States with his wife Meghan Markle and their young family, but according to one expert, the fraught relationship between the brothers could be mended with one straightforward gesture.
