Gender Reveal Gone Wrong: Plane Crash Kills Pilot, Guests Horrified
A small plane crashed during a gender reveal celebration, killing the pilot amid a crowd of cheering guests who were oblivious to the tragedy occurring above them.
The delighted couple hired a small aircraft to fly by and drop either pink or blue colored powder to identify the gender of their unborn child. They held a pregnancy celebration with close friends and family in Sinaloa, Mexico.
The pregnant couple, who were waiting next to a ‘Oh baby’ sign, were informed they were expecting a daughter as pink smoke from the plane’s fuselage was discharged as it drew near them.
Shouts and jubilant screams erupted on September 2 as the smitten couple kissed below the pink petals.
However, the Piper PA-25-235 Pawnee aircraft rapidly shot upward when one of its wings broke off in flight.

Local media reports that 32-year-old Luis Angel N. was the pilot in charge and the only person in the little aircraft. He was found among the wreckage after the collision.
