Donald Trump Announces First 2022 Rally as He Plans Comeback Year | Latest News!
In what could be another busy year for Trump, the former president has announced that his first rally of 2022 will take place in Arizona.
Save America’s Political Action Committee announced the event, which will take place on January 15 at the Country Thunder Festival Grounds in Florence, AZ
The former president hasn’t held a rally since he spoke at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa, back in October. On July 24, he appeared at a Turning Point Action rally in Phoenix.
The “big lie” narrative that the 2020 election was rigged in favor of Vice President Joe Biden has been a mainstay of Trump and his supporters’ narrative in Arizona for some time now.
As part of an effort to overturn the election results in favor of Trump, a conspiracy theory-led audit of the state’s most populous region, Maricopa County, was conducted for several weeks.
Biden still won the state of Arizona by a margin of about 10,500 votes in September, but Trump actually received fewer votes than he did in the original count.
There are nine days between now and Trump’s rally in Florence at the Country Thunder Festival Grounds, where he is scheduled to hold a press conference on January 6, the one-year anniversary of his supporters’ insurrection at the Capitol, where he is expected to falsely claim he lost the last election due to widespread voter fraud.
“Remember, the insurrection began on November 3rd; it was an entirely unarmed protest against the rigged election on January 6th,” Trump said in a statement announcing the conference.
Another big plan for 2020 could be announcing his intention to run for president again, something Trump has been teasing but not giving an official answer to since leaving office in January of this year.
According to recent polls, Trump is the most popular GOP candidate for the 2024 presidential race.
Trump also hopes to have his new social media network up and running by early 2022.
after being banned from all major social media sites in response to the January 6 attacks, Trump announced the Truth Social platform in October of that year. It took just a few weeks for Donald J. Trump’s previous attempts to use his blog to replace his social media presence to fail due to low readership.

The planned merger between Trump Media & Technology Group and Digital World Acquisition Corp (DWAC), a shell company, is being investigated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) (FINRA).
Investigators are looking into whether Trump’s media organization had any discussions with the special purpose acquisition company before they went public, according to the reports.
DWAC’s stock price soared from $10 to $175 after the merger was announced.
SEC’s review of DWAC found no evidence of wrongdoing or a “negative opinion of DWAC or any person, event, or security,” according to DWAC’s court documents. According to the company, the FINRA investigation “should not be construed” as an indication that any violations have been found by the firm.
