DC Police: “No New Developments” in Taylor Hackel’s Case
Taylor Hackel, 24, has been missing, and the MPD in Washington, D.C. is continuing their hunt for him.
“There are no updates at this time,” MPD informed Fox News Digital on Friday afternoon, despite speculations circulating on social media that she had been recovered.
Hackel was last seen on Monday, February 11th, in the 600 block of Jackson Street Northeast, close to the National Basilica and the campus of the Catholic University of America. After that, we lost contact with her.
MPD said in a Thursday alert that someone had reported her missing on Wednesday. On Thursday, MPD assured that there was no threat information in the missing person’s report.
A graduate student at CUA’s John Paul II Institute, Hackel’s car was last seen visiting Centro Maria, a D.C.-based religious group.
The flier also reveals that the last time she used her debit card was at an ATM in Georgia. Whether or not Interpol is helping in the hunt for Hackel was not immediately clear.
She has blonde hair and blue eyes, and is described as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 130 pounds. A tan sweater, white shirt, and black pants were her last known clothing items, per MPD.
If you know where Hackel is, please call the Metropolitan Police Department’s Youth and Family Services Division at (202) 727-9099. The situation is still being looked investigated by MPD.
