Car Crashes into Denny’s Restaurant: 23 People Injured
In Texas, a vehicle crashed into a Denny’s restaurant, causing injuries to nearly two dozen people. The incident occurred when the vehicle plowed through the restaurant’s wall late Monday morning in Rosenberg. Police received multiple 911 calls at approximately 11:22 a.m., and a photo released by the police department showed the vehicle fully inside the restaurant amidst debris.
Of the 23 people inside the restaurant at the time, injuries ranged from minor to serious, but all appeared to be non-life-threatening. They were transported to local hospitals for medical care. Fortunately, the car’s driver did not suffer any wounds.

Family Trauma: Parents’ Survival in Denny’s Crash
The cause of the accident is under investigation, as stated by the Rosenberg Police Department. The Denny’s restaurant is located on a Southwest Freeway frontage road in Rosenberg, a city about 35 miles southwest of Houston.
Witnesses recounted the terrifying incident, with one person mentioning that her parents, who were in their late 70s, were injured during lunch. Her father heard a loud crash, and suddenly the vehicle was inside the restaurant, causing debris to scatter. Both parents were taken to different hospitals for treatment, with one possibly having a broken leg due to a fallen beam. Despite the trauma, they were grateful to be alive.
Another witness explained how several of her in-laws were having breakfast in a booth at Denny’s when the crash occurred, pushing them into the kitchen area. Her brother-in-law suffered a back injury, her sister-in-law had lacerations, and her mother-in-law had hematomas on her arms and legs. The unexpected nature of the incident, especially on a holiday, left the community shocked and concerned for the well-being of those affected.
