Authorities found a suspect Wednesday in a shooting in Venice in July that seriously hurt two British tourists. The Los Angeles Police Department is looking for Brandon Manyo Dixon because of a crime that happened on July 30 in the 20 block of Windward Avenue.
Police said in a statement, “The suspect, the suspect’s friend, and two British tourists got into an argument outside a busy bar.”
“The argument turned into a fight, which got violent when the suspect ran after the two visitors with a gun,” police said. “As the guests ran away, the suspect shot them and ran away on foot.” Both people had serious gunshot wounds and were taken to the hospital.
After the investigation, detectives found that Dixon was the person who did it, and they released a picture of him. Authorities say, “Dixon should be thought of as armed and dangerous.” “If you see him, call 911 for help right away.”
