After playing in the 2022 Pro Bowl at Allegiant Stadium, Saints running back Alvin Kamara was detained in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Kamara was arrested and charged with battery causing serious bodily harm, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

The LVMPD was dispatched on Saturday afternoon after a hospital patient reported being assaulted in a nightclub.
According to authorities, the batterer was later identified as Kamara.
LVMPD stated Kamara, 26, was taken into jail without incident and that the investigation is still ongoing.
Kamara is under contract with the Saints through the 2026 season, according to Spotrac. In 2022, he’ll earn a basic salary of $5.5 million and will be counted against the team’s salary cap of $14.5 million.
