CCTV, the state broadcaster, said that two more people were getting care for minor injuries. CCTV shows that police have taken into custody an unknown number of suspects in connection with the fire, which took nearly seven hours to put out.

Authorities told Henan Daily that preliminary findings show that the fire was caused by not following the rules for electrical welding. In the past few years, China has had a lot of industrial accidents that killed a lot of people. This has made people worry more about public safety.
