According to a Republican Senator, Trump’s Election Charges Are False | Your Views!
He made it clear on Sunday that Mike Rounds didn’t believe that the 2020 election was going to be stolen from Trump.
He said on ABC’s “This Week” that as part of his due diligence, “We looked at over 60 different accusations made in different states.” As long as there were some irregularities, none of them would have changed the vote in one state.
He said: “The election was fair, as far as we have seen,” and he kept going.
He said that if Republicans want to win in the 2022 midterms, they need to stop making untrue claims about how Trump was cheated out of a victory if they want to do well.
“If we just look back and tell our people, “Don’t vote because there’s been cheating,” then we’re going to be at a huge disadvantage,” he said. “So, moving forward, let’s talk about what it takes to win those votes.” We can.
Rounds also said he wouldn’t support Congress trying to make a law that would stop Trump from running for reelection because of his actions on Jan. 6. Rounds also said he wouldn’t support impeachment because Trump was already out of office.
In other words, he also said that even though Trump is no longer president, he could still be prosecuted by the Justice Department if they had a good reason to do so.

As for 2024, Rounds said that he wouldn’t rule out supporting Trump for president at that time.
“I’ll give it a good look. Honestly, what I’ve told people is that I’m going to vote for the Republican candidate to be the next president. he said: “I don’t know if he or she has even shown up yet.”
